Sheila M. Carter The beloved daughter of the late Frances Best & the late H. Carter, was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 3, 1948. Sheila received her education in the Philadelphia public school system. She was a sweet, loving, and kind woman whose presence brought warmth wherever she went. She had a beautiful way of making people feel welcome, and her home was often a place filled with love, laughter, good food, and family. Sheila loved hosting get-togethers at her house, creating memories with the people she loved most. Sheila had a personality and a few special favorites that everyone who knew her will always remember. She loved her stories, her Juicy Fruit gum, Days soda, and peppermint balls. These simple things became a part of who she was and are now memories that will bring smiles to the faces of those who loved her. Music was another special part of Sheila’s life. When she was younger, she shared her love of music by singing at the Uptown Theater in Philadelphia. She even had the unforgettable experience of taking pictures with the legendary Smokey Robinson. These moments were a beautiful part of her younger years and memories that her family will always treasure. Sheila’s life was filled with love, music, family, laughter, and countless memories.
She will be remembered not only for the things she loved, but for the kindness she showed, the joy she brought into people’s lives, and the memories she created with those around her. Her love will continue to live on through her family, and the stories told about her will keep her spirit close. Sheila Carter will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
