THE LIFE STORY of Queen Netta
Kennetta “Netta” Tomoney was born on January 29, 1980, to Rosetta Tomoney and the late Marvin Lazenbury. Kennetta departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and friend whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched everyone she met.
Kennetta was educated in the Philadelphia School System where she also dedicated 5 years of employment to the Philadelphia School District. Kennetta worked with care, compassion, and commitment to support her students and staff. Her compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on those around her.
Netta was proceeded in death by her father Marvin Lazenbury and brother George Tomoney.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Rosetta Tomoney. Sisters; Sandra Bailey, and Belinda Bailey. Brother; Quintis Bailey.
Kennetta was a Proud mother of three children who she loved, and cared for tremendously: Stanton Blackwell, Zakiyyah Tomoney, and Earl Lee Davis. She was also a cherished Grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren: Jayden, Hezekiah, Anna, Stanton lll, Aerie, A'ziah, Omri; and her beloved grandchild Ah'zir who preceded her in death. Her children and grandchildren brought endless joy and laughter into her life.
Kennetta's family was her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Her legacy of love, generosity, and faith will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
