THE MUSIC NEVER STOPS

In Memory of James H. Cunningham ("TootsieLamar")

Born beneath a Philadelphia sky,

A September soul with a spark in his eye.

James walked his path his own unique way,

Living life fully, day by day.

A son, a brother, a father, a friend,

The kind of spirit that time cannot end.

With OUT LOUD humor and a humble heart,

He brought people together and made them feel a part.

The music called, and he answered loud,

Spinning memories that moved every crowd.

As "TootsieLamar," he lit up the room,

Turning ordinary moments into joyful bloom.

From records and rhythms to speakers and sound,

He knew how to lift every soul around.

The beat was his language, the 1’s & 2’s, his stage,

Creating smiles that transcended age.

He worked for himself, stood proud and tall,

Never afraid to answer life's call.

He loved his cars, his music, and more,

The simple pleasures life had in store.

Though we mourn and our hearts feel the cost,

We celebrate far more than what was lost.

For legends don't leave when their bodies depart—

They live on forever in each loving heart.

So when the music plays and memories start,

Listen closely and you'll hear his heart.

A familiar rhythm, a timeless refrain—

The music never stops for James.
