The Beat Goes On

In Loving Memory of Frederick “Fred” Anthony Jerome June 5, 1970 – September 12, 2026

“

To know him was to experience genuine love, generosity, and sincerity.

There was a rhythm in the way you lived, A beat of love in all you gave. You gave your heart, you gave your time, You made each moment feel sublime.

Fred, Freddie, Freddie Beatz—A name that carried warmth and sound, A man whose laughter filled a room, Whose presence lifted spirits around.

From Philadelphia, where your story began, You grew into a loving husband, father, friend, and man. Through every chapter, every place, You left behind your special grace.

You taught with purpose, served with care, And gave your wisdom freely there. For more than twenty-five years, You helped young lives through hopes and fears.

“

Fred embraced life fully and loved adventure.

But music was the language of your soul, The beat that made your spirit whole. Behind the boards, you found your way, Creating sounds that still will play.

With every rhythm, every track, You put a little piece of yourself back. Through Splash City, your dreams took flight, Turning beats into something bright.

You made the bassline speak and sing, You gave the rhythm its own wings. And though you're gone from our sight today, Your music gives your spirit a way To travel on, from heart to heart, Because true art never really parts.

You loved adventure, life, and fun—The ocean, camping, fishing, sun. You traveled far, you laughed out loud, And brought your joy into every crowd.

You knew how to make a gathering glow, How to make a quiet moment flow. You welcomed people, made them feel That friendship with you was something real.

And Danielle, your faithful wife, Shared with you the journey of life.  Together you built a love so strong, A love that time cannot undo or wrong.

And Julian, your beloved son, Your greatest joy, your precious one.  You worked so hard to give him more, To open every possible door.

He carries your name, your love, your light, Your lessons, laughter, strength, and fight. And though his heart will miss you so, The seeds you planted still will grow.

To family, friends, and those you knew, Your love was honest, kind, and true. A brother, godfather, uncle, friend—A love like yours does not simply end.

Carlos, your brother, welcomed you there, Along with those who held you dear. And though the tears may sometimes fall, Your memory will outlive them all.

For life is music, and we each leave A melody behind when we take our leave. Some songs are soft, some songs are strong,  Some stay with us our whole lives long.

And Fred, you left a beautiful sound—A rhythm that will still go round. Your beats will play, your records spin, And every note will bring you in.

So when the music fills the air, We'll feel your presence everywhere. When the bass drops low and the rhythm moves,  We'll remember Freddie and his grooves.

And when we dance, we'll dance for you. When we laugh, we'll laugh for you. When we gather and share our love,  We'll know you're listening from above.

Your final track may now be still, But your music never will. For every beat you left behind Still lives in someone's heart and mind.

So rest peacefully, Fred, our friend, Our brother, husband, father, and kin. Your earthly song has reached its end—But your rhythm carries on.

The music plays. The memories remain. The love lives on.  And Freddie Beatz will never fade.
