Demetrius J. Town Sr., affectionately known as “Meme” or “Meat” was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 27th, 1969. Demetrius was born to the late Mary and Henry Town. Demetrius was educated in the Philadelphia Public school system and graduated with honors from Simon Gratz high school. Demetrius was a man of many talents, including being trained in Taekwondo, and a soulful singer. He loved to sing and loved listening to Oldies!
Demetrius developed a strong work ethic at a young age. He was very close with his father, Henry Town, and often worked alongside him, gaining valuable professional and life skills. One of Demetrius’ greatest joys in his life was that of being a father:he took pride in his children, and he cherished the time he spent with them. Demetrius is preceded in death by his mother Mary Town and his father Henry Town.
