Life Story
Cheryl Ann Clark was born February 8,1955 to the late Lucy Clark and James Bradley in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She peacefully departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2025. Cheryl received her education through the Philadelphia School System and graduated from Simon Gratz High School. She devoted many years of service to Warren E. Smith Health Center (W.E.S.), where she worked faithfully until retirement in 2010.
After retiring, Cheryl continued to give back to her community by volunteering at various agencies. Cheryl was adored and loved by many. In her younger years, she was an excellent pool shooter and bowler. If you knew her then you knew her love for shopping, music, and dancing. R&B;
was her joy, with Earth, Wind and Fire being her favorite group. Whenever the song “Poison” was played, you could always find her shaking, stepping and jamming to the beat!
Cheryl also had a deep passion for sports—especially Football—and loved playing Pinochle. She was thrilled to hear the news that Brandon Graham, her beloved Eagles player, came out of retirement. And if you were lucky enough to play cards with her, be prepared—she just might
rub your head for good luck! Cheryl loved celebrating special occasions and holidays with family and friends. She was truly
one of a kind, a vibrant spirit who brought laughter, love, and light wherever she went. She will
truly be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory: Her children, Maurice Clark Sr, (daughter in-law Jerine “Megan” Clark) and Shannon Clark; her four beloved grandchildren, Aniyah Outlaw, Malik Lewis, Shadir Rodgers, and Maurice Clark Jr.; and her cherished cat, Ryder. Cherishing warm and loving memories of Cheryl, are her siblings Robert Clark, (sister-in-law Lisa Clark), and Brian Clark; her brother Michael Clark, who preceded her in death; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will continue to carry her memory
in their hearts.
Lovingly submitted,
